The AI4ProSa project has taken an important step forward with the validation of version 0.9 of the AI4ProSa assistant at Staatliche Berufsschule II Bayreuth (Germany). The activity involved 18 VET students, who tested the platform and provided valuable feedback to support its further development.
During the session, project partners Encarna Alemañ from aiju and Professor Pedro Pernias and Pilar Escobar from University of Alicante introduced AI4ProSa, explained the objectives of the project and presented the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988, highlighting its impact on future professionals and businesses. They also provided students with instructions on how to work with the learning platform.
AI4ProSa is developing an AI-powered learning assistant designed to help students, teachers and professionals understand and apply European product safety requirements in a practical and accessible way.
This first validation phase allows users to assess the tool’s usability, relevance and effectiveness while providing suggestions for improvement. The feedback collected in Germany will be used to refine the platform before the next validation activities in Spain and the Czech Republic.
By combining Artificial Intelligence, vocational education and product safety expertise, AI4ProSa aims to support the development of safer products and better-prepared professionals across Europe.
